Moreover, when comparing the weight per unit area, it is significantly lighter than conventional sound barriers. Solid components, even if they have the same mass per unit area as CISILENT, have inferior sound insulation effects because their high rigidity causes sound to hit the surface and disperse again. In contrast, the flexible CISILENT exhibits sound insulation effects commensurate with its mass.
